A Few Testimonials from Happy Little Plum Customers

By Alie Plumstead

"I just wanted to let you know that the picture arrived today and it is beautiful. I am absolutely delighted with it"

"Just to let you know how happy I am with my ribbon notice board which I bought from you at the Irnham Fair. The board looks great in my kitchen and is already adorned with photos, appointment cards and invitations. I'm sure you will be getting more custom from me."

"The picture was delivered safe and well today to my nieghbour. THANK YOU. We are really thrilled with it. I shall recommend you in the future!"

"My son has two of your motif pictures on his wall and he loves them! He's 23 months old now but his very first word ever was 'car' as he pointed to your picture! I've just had another little boy, and we'd love two more motif pictures on his nursery wall"

"My Little Plum picture arrived today - thanks for sending it so promptly. It's for a very new little girl whose Mum is a vet specialising in pigs - such an appropriate gift!"

"I have just picked up the pinboard and key holder and they are both absolutely beautiful. Thank you so very much for making them and I am sure I will be in touch again sometime soon asking for something else!"

"Many thanks for the beautiful pictures - and for getting them here in time (with such short notice)"

"Thanks so much for the gorgeous initials which have just arrived and have made my day!! They look great and I can’t wait to give them to the little people on the big day!"

Full of Hope …

By Alie Plumstead

We’re just back from our summer holiday, staying with some lovely friends right up in the north of Scotland, in a house on the River Hope.  Our hosts had very kindly invited us to fish, which, apart from sewing, is my favourite way to spend a day.  When faced with the dilemma of what present to take to thank them for putting up with the Plumsteads for an entire week, I looked no further than my Fishing Fly Key Holders, a brilliantly appropriate gift for the discerning fisherman (who frankly WILL have everything). The present went down brilliantly and I went on to outwit nine salmon during the course of the week.  Hope prevailed …

Barnes Fair

By Alie Plumstead

Last Saturday was Little Plum’s third year at the Barnes Fair in south west London.  It was a beautifully hot sunny day, so we were grateful for our usual spot under the leafy shade of the London plane trees.  As it’s always a busy day, I had shipped in my lovely sister-in-law, Viny, to help me out, and she proved invaluable not only with our customers, but also with the construction of the gazebo (scenes reminiscent of The Krypton Factor …) and seeking out pints of Pimms during the afternoon!  As always it was great to see so many loyal customers returning, and meeting many new ones too.  All were ingredients for a happy and very successful day, and we look forward to returning again next year.
